The Full Story

I’m originally from Greece and I’m 30 years old. I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour and wanted to understand more about how we think, feel, and relate to one another. This curiosity led me to study Psychology in Greece before moving to the UK, where I shifted my focus towards educational psychology. For the past 8 years, I’ve been working with children and their families, supporting them through various challenges.

I was particularly drawn to the behaviourist approach during my studies, which eventually draw me into studying Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and inspired me to transition into counselling and psychotherapy with adults. During my training, I had the opportunity to collaborate with several counselling centres for placements, including the Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre, Crisis, and the Lanarkshire Counselling and CBT Centre.

In 2024, I opened my own private practice, where I continue to support adults in breaking unhelpful patterns and becoming unstuck from unkind thoughts. Outside of my private practice, I work as a wellbeing manager at my current workplace, providing support to children, families, and staff. This includes psychoeducation, wellness guidance, and ongoing emotional support, allowing me to continue making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.

My Mission

My mission is to help people regain a sense of agency and take back control over their lives. I aim to support clients in recognising their own strengths and resources, and to feel truly empowered that they can make the changes they want to see. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to create a space where clients feel capable, supported, and confident in shaping the life they want.

My Values

In my work, I bring empathy to understand what each person is experiencing and respect for their individuality and choices. I see therapy as a collaborative process, so collaboration and inclusivity are central -I want everyone to feel welcome, safe, and accepted. Non-judgement and kindness also guide how I work, creating a space where it’s okay to explore difficult thoughts and emotions.
